The AccessBus is a dial-a-ride bus service providing door-to-door local transport for those who are unable to use regular bus services.
Buses are all low floor, easy access minibuses fitted with the most up-to-date safety equipment.
AccessBus operates every day between 9am and 5pm.
Who can use AccessBus?
The service is open to all passengers. The trips and destinations available are aimed at providing a service to local destinations for people of limited mobility.
Where can I go on AccessBus?
The AccessBus offer trips to local shops and facilities in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.
How do I book?
First you need to register with AccessBus:
- Telephone 0113 348 1903 on Mondays to Fridays, excluding Bank Holidays, between 7.30am and 4pm.
From then on you just need to phone, quote your reference number and you'll be told when the service and seat is available.
AccessBus advisers will be able to tell you when the service is in your area. If space allows, you may also reserve a place on an ongoing basis.
How much does it cost to use AccessBus?
A flat fare of £3 per journey applies to travel on AccessBus, passengers holding English National Concessionary Fare passes travel free of charge.
