Disability and Public Transport Event on Thursday 17th October 2019

On Thursday 17th October from 11:30am till 1pm, the Bradford & District Disabled People’s Forum (BDPF) in partnership with People First Keighley & Craven (PFKC) along with the support of Equality Together would like to invite you to our Disability and Public Transport Event at Central Hall, Alice St, Keighley BD21 3JD to have your say on public transport in the district.

The event aims to bring people together to discuss the positives and negatives of public transport and Erica Ward, Accessibility Officer at West Yorkshire Combined Authority (METRO) will be our main speaker along with representatives from the public transport providers in the district.

At the event, there will also be the first ever “Transport Equality Achievement (T.E.A) Award”, which will be an award for the bus driver, taxi driver or support worker who enables you to use public transport and provide equality to all citizens.

The Bradford & District Disabled People’s Forum (BDPF) & People First Keighley and Craven (PFKC) have jointly complied a survey, which we would like to ask you to complete and tell us about your experiences of using public transport as well as nominating your “Public Transport Hero”.
