Universal Credit is a punishing regime being imposed on people with low incomes
On Monday 26th February 2018, the Bradford & District Disabled People's Forum (BDPF) wrote to all five of Bradford District's Members of Parliament (MP's) raising serious concerns regarding the punishing regime of Universal Credit (UC) due to be imposed on people with low incomes either in or out of work and asking them to raise it with the relevant Government Minister.

Only one MP has reply to date, on Tuesday 26th March 2018, we received a formal reply from Philip Davies MP for Shipley which includes Alok Sharma MP, Minister of State for Employment at the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) response to our concerns.
